What is the TAVO Alarm?
Why choose TAVO over traditional alarm clocks?
Traditional alarm clocks or phone alarms have no regard for our natural sleep cycle. Besides that, traditional alarm clocks rely on jolting us awake with obnoxiously loud sounds. This is why sometimes we feel awfully tired, fatigued, or even agitated in the morning and throughout the day. TAVO works according to your sleep cycle to wake you in the lightest part of your sleep using vibration leaving you feeling rested and refreshed.
Why is TAVO silent?
Nobody likes waking up to the classic alarm sound in the morning. Not you, nor those around you. TAVO is here to change what has become the norm because it's disturbing for both you and those around you. TAVO was designed to provide a more natural and peaceful waking experience by providing a calm and pleasant wake up way to wake up. TAVO makes waking up discrete and personal, without waking or disturbing others sleep.
How does the TAVO Alarm work?
The TAVO Alarm is designed to work with your natural sleep cycle, whether sleeping 4.5, 6, 7.5 hours. TAVO's algorithms then use motion tracking to detect when your body is ready to wake up within a 15-45 minute window. This ensures that you are waking up when your body is naturally waking up, in the lightest part of your sleep, feeling refreshed and rested.
How does TAVO wake me up?
Instead of using sound, TAVO uses vibrations on a pressure point under your wrist to wake you, or rather signal to you that it is time to wake up (since you're already partially awake). A cool new experience for first timers.
Will the TAVO Alarm work for heavy sleepers?
Traditional alarms can be ineffective for heavy sleepers because they try to wake you up during deep sleep, when your body is less responsive. TAVO, on the other hand, targets to wake you up according to your natural sleep cycle during the lightest part of your sleep when your body is more ready to wake up. TAVO's vibrations target a more sensitive part of the inner side of your wrist for ample vibration to ensure you wake up. Strengths and speed options for vibration are variable to help you get used to the alarm.
